Kurt Kansley & OLIVER LIDERT

Kurt Kansley and Oliver Lidert have worked extensively in the theatre industry onstage and behind the scenes; producing, writing, directing and musical directing for over 15 years collectively in the UK, USA and Australia.
 Kansley & Lidert’s creative credits include; THE SONGS I’LL NEVER SING (starring Rachel John, written, produced and directed for the St. James Theatre), THREEPENNY OPERA (directed and produced for WAC at CityLit Theatre), MAURY YESTON’S - DECEMBER SONGS (UK premier starring Gloria Onitri, directed and produced for the St. James Theatre), MY STORY IN YOU - THE MUSIC OF OLIVER PAYNE (featuring Laura Pitt-Pulford, directed and produced for the St. James Theatre), VILLAIN DE BLANCS (a comedy, directed and produced for theatreMAD at The Crazy Coq and Edinburgh Festival).

Kansley & Lidert’s original musical CONFESSIONS, had its first official workshop in the spring of 2018 and will be onstage in the West End in late 2019. They have 3 other musicals currently in the making.
Kansley & Lidert have also written music and arrangements for theatreMAD events that include A WEST END CHRISTMAS, WEST END EUROVISION and WEST END BARES. Collectively Kurt and Oliver have worked as performers in West End, Broadway and Australia in productions that include; PRINCE OF EGYPT, EVITA, ALADDIN, THE BOOK OF MORMON, THE LION KING, RENT, RAGTIME, MISS SAIGON, BEAUTIFUL, PORGY AND BESS, A MIDSUMMER NIGHTS DREAM, GUYS AND DOLLS, JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR, EVITA, SHOW BOAT and HAIR.



HOME GROWN RESPECTS the Traditional Owners of the lands on which we work and live, and the rice stories and culture of the traditional custodians of Australia.
